‘Private Map Collecting and Public Map Collections in the United States’ is the theme for the 34th symposium.

FEES and REGISTRATION
The symposium registration fee of $250 is all-inclusive of all the events associated with the IMCoS and the Nebenzahl Lectures, including the annual banquet, receptions, and tours.

Please note that the Chicago International Map Fair requires a separate registration fee.

ACCOMMODATION
We have reserved a block of rooms at The Talbott Hotel, 20 East Delaware Place, two blocks from the Newberry, for the use of IMCoS Symposium registrants. The special symposium rate for single or double rooms (i.e., one or two beds) is $205 per night. This rate applies for the nights of 23 October (Sunday) through 29 October (Saturday). For reservations, registrants must contact the hotel directly at (01) 312-397-3619. When making a reservation, please be sure to indicate that you are part of the IMCoS/Newberry event. The rooms will be held at this rate until 23 September 2016. Fall is a busy season for Chicago hotels, and registrants are encouraged to make their reservations as soon as possible. Persons attending the symposium are welcome to make reservations at another of the many hotels near the Newberry. Several hotels offer rooms for guests at Newberry rates.
